Academy Program

  • Masterclasses

    Sharpen your skills with world-renowned musicians.

  • solo performances

    Public concerts featuring repertoire worked on during the masterclasses.

  • Chamber Ensemble

    Select students will play alongside festival artists as a small ensemble Tara Strings to perform.

  • Chamber Music

    Groups formed by young artists will have the chance to participate in masterclasses as well as be considered for performances.

  • Prizes

    Prizes available for participants, including a generous short-term loan of a 1874 Miremont violin and sponsorships by Pirastro and Dolfinos.

  • Villers-La-Ville, Belgium. One hour outside of Brussels.

  • Application fee €30

    Young Artists must pay the mandatory fee of €499 (Early Bird applications until 01/01/25 €459)to cover the masterclasses, chamber music, chamber ensemble and performance opportunities.

    Additional options:
    +€280 for pre-organized housing
    +€100 for pianist to accompany lessons and/or concerts

    Scholarships available, please specify in the application if needed.

    Application materials:
    2 contrasting works on video. Concerti, sonatas, solo, etc. allowed (excluding chamber music).
